ALL Veggie Smoothies are...

not so good! I read that blending your salad was a great way to more easily absorb all the nutrients in it. So I thought I would give it a try. I took everything I would put in a salad (what they suggested), and put it in a blender with a little water. I wouldn't say it was gross, but it had a very strong flavor. I drank a little, but just couldn't finish it. Jeremy wouldn't even taste it. Maybe I'll try it again someday, but for now I'll keep adding some fruit to sweeten it up.

Raw Food - Day 8








I'm really loving this! My energy has definitely increased and I just feel good. I'm not 100% raw. That is not my goal right now. But I would love to work my way to at least 90% raw. I did find an awesome on-the-go bar to keep in my purse. They are called Larabars. They have no more than 6 ingredients in them, and they are all natural and raw. I have only tried three, but so far the Lemon is my favorite. It's made with dates, cashews, almonds and real lemon. It's really yummy! The other two I've tried is Cherry Pie and Apple Pie, both are good. I love finding new, healthy things to eat!
